5 EXPERIENCES TO ENJOY IF YOU STAY IN OUR LODGINGS

Thursday, May 10, 2018

One of the strengths of all our establishments is the environment in which they are located, as well as all the possibilities that this offers. We share with you some ideas of things to do if you decide to visit us.

Activities

As many of you know, through our website  and our networks, we like you to enjoy nature in an active way and we offer you a series of very appealing activities that you can enjoy near our lodgings: horseback riding, canyoning, rafting, hiking, bungee jumping... We have something for everyone, for daredevils and for those that are less daring, but they are all intended to help you disconnect and enjoy nature.

Beaches

If there is anything that defines the Galician coast, it is its spectacular beaches and we are lucky to be located in a privileged area in that regard. We dare to say that we have several of the most beautiful beaches in Galicia and, by extension, in Spain. The contrast between sea and mountains, the fine sand and the virgin nature of our beaches are some of the characteristics that contribute to the above statement not being a fallacy. Beaches such as Carnota, As Furnas in Porto do Son or Area Maior in Louro are good examples of this. In addition, next to our Cabanas de Broña, we have the beach of Broña, a very nice and quiet beach to go with family or friends.

Drive along the coast

Another advantage of our location is the possibility of driving along one of the most emblematic areas of the Spanish coastline. We can start in Outes passing through the entire ria of Muros and Noia, stop in Muros, an absolute must, since it is a beautiful and typical Galician fishing village, and end at the lighthouse of Monte Louro. From there, we head towards Lira, Carnota, O Pindo and we will arrive at the spectacular Fervenza do Ézaro, where we will take some beautiful pictures and enjoy breathtaking views. The perfect ending to this wonderful drive is Finisterre, Costa da Morte at its best, a place full of legends and the final leg of the Camino de Santiago  (St. James's Way).

Cuisine

The beauty of the landscape is not the only thing that characterizes our ria, there is something that makes it a little more special and for what we Galicians are known all over Spain, the seafood. The seafood from our waters is the best that one can eat. We are also fortunate to have several restaurants where they prepare all this gastronomic wealth with special care.

We would like to recommend a couple of restaurants located in the fishing port of O Freixo. The product practically goes from the sea to your mouth, you cannot get it any fresher. We leave it in your hands to decide between Restaurante Ríos and Restaurante Pepe do Coxo, both are a fantastic choice.

Enjoying the accommodation

Another option you have, especially if you need a little rest, is to stay in our facilities, enjoy the tranquility of the environment, take advantage of all our services and let us pamper you a little, we will be happy to do so.
